I promote the most enjoyable grooming session possible for every dog. To achieve the optimal experience, I have found dogs benefit most from comfortable, calm surroundings and attentive, thoughtful treatment. Every single dog that comes in gets the attention they deserve. Appointments are allocated for one dog or family of dogs at any one time with no crossover or waiting in holding areas. Located on the Lincolnshire coast the studio offers a secure garden area to allow your pet to take breaks and relax outside.
We are just a five minute walk from a blue flag award winning beach with its dog friendly peaceful shoreline. The vibrant village of Sutton on Sea offers independent shops and cafes.

I have created a modern studio, perfect for one to one appointments, in a quiet calm and relaxed atmosphere. Your dogs welfare is foremost, and their experience of the groom should not be stressful. If you would like to call for a consultation, or arrange a visit to the studio we can discuss your requirements, tailored to suit you and your pets busy lifestyle.

" A friend recommended Jewels and we haven’t been disappointed! Jewels has transformed Ralph’s appearance, on his first appointment he had a huge amount of unruly coat. She has shaped and trimmed him and given shape and character to his face. What is more he seems happier without the weight of the thick coat. Jewels is a very kind person and Ralph skips in eagerly to greet her at each appointment.
" Thank you Jewels."

" I had such a wonderful experience with Jewels. From the moment we arrived, she was so friendly and caring- it was clear that she genuinely loves what she does, and her gentle approach made the whole experience stress-free.She listened carefully to what I wanted and delivered exactly that—my dog came out looking fantastic! I couldn’t be happier with the result. If you’re looking for a skilled, kind, and professional groomer, I highly recommend this lady. "
" We’ll definitely be back! "

" A friend recommended Jewels to me after moving into the area and needing a new groomer for my 10 year old Miniature Schnauzer. I'll admit I was nervous because my pint sized princess is rather fussy about who she likes and anyone not meeting her exacting standards are usually given a jolly good woofing to. I need not have feared though as Jewels was absolutely amazing with her! Her calm, gentle demeanor puts both dog and owner at ease instantly. I knew we'd found our new pamper parlour before the lead was even unclipped. We discussed Heidi's coat and how it's been groomed previously, our likes and dislikes. When I returned to collect her, well, she looked absolutely gorgeous! Hands down the best groom she's ever had! The attention to detail of the breed characteristics is incredible - Heidi can now side eye me from under the best eyebrows! But the nicest part is how complimentary Jewels was about Heidi. A proud mummy moment! We may have only been once, but I know it will not be our last! We are looking forward to seeing Jewels again soon! "

" Jewels has such a lovely way with dogs. Teddy is a really nervous dog but is always happy to arrive and see Jewels and get a fuss. He always comes out looking and smelling divine and Jewels always takes time to make sure his cut is exactly as we want, shorter in summer and longer in winter. Highly recommended. "

" Jewels is very professional and providing a fantastic service. She is so calm with dogs and humans! My puppy was wagging his tail at her and fell asleep straight after his pampering session. Jewels is very knowledgeable and gives advice way above just grooming. I won’t go anywhere else. Thank you so much Jewels. "

" My dog has been groomed by Jewels for the past 5 years and always comes out with a beautiful, neat groom and smelling fantastic. I love that Jewels uses natural products and always checks with me on the length of the cut and the health of my dog on arrival. The studio has a calm and relaxed atmosphere and Jewels provides a one to one, bespoke, professional service. "

I am located in Sutton On Sea about 3 miles from the Mablethorpe. I work on a one to one basis strictly by appointment, so please phone ahead before visiting the studio.

It is normal for a full groom to take up to 2 hours, dependent on the size of the dog, its coat type and the styling required. A large breed can take up to 3 hours. We will be able to discuss this over the phone or if you prefer at a meet and greet appointment at the studio.
It is important for your dogs health that all inoculations have been completed. Proof of vaccination will be required at the first visit. As with everything new to them, the younger and earlier a puppy is gently introduced to new sights, sounds and smells the more confident they become, resulting in a much better grooming experience for them. Our Puppy Introduction service offers a completely free introductory visit. Your puppy is initially introduced to the salon and myself, allowed a good sniff about, introduced to the grooming table, and some of the equipment, such as the sound of the dryer and vibrations of the clippers. They get a gentle fun brush, lots of cuddles and (with your permission)a treat.
Unless it’s absolutely necessary, then you should refrain yourself from bringing your dog to the grooming studio if she is in season. Whilst a bitch is in season she will be more sensitive and can become very stressed. To bring her to the groomers, would cause extra stress levels for her when she is already in a hormonal state.
The expressing of anal glands is classed as an invasive procedure, and should only be done by a veterinarian.
I always recommend that dogs are given a little walk before they arrive at the studio, so that they can relieve themselves and expel any excess energy. However I would not recommend a long walk as this may result in them being too tired to stand up and tolerate a full groom.
I would recommend that dogs are allowed to recover fully before they are groomed. This is normally a little longer for girls but on average around 3 weeks after the operation. If unsure consult with your veterinarian.
Yes I will always take the pets health into account, and have hypoallergenic shampoo available for dogs with skin conditions. Please advise when you call if your dog requires any special treatment. Alternatively they can bring their own shampoo with them.
Clients who do not cancel at least 24hrs before their appointment will be charged 50% of the service price. Clients who fail to show up for an appointment without notice will be charged 100%. Thank you for your understanding.
